We do not set aside or look down on any other doctrine or beliefs that a church, it's leaders, or members follow. However, the knowledge, belief, and practice of the truths as stated in this Statement of Faith we deem necessary for co-laboring with pastors and local churches. The following is an abridgment of the church doctrinal statement of Victory Baptist Church, our home church and our sending church.
Statement of Faith
Word of God - The Bible is the verbally inspired Word of God, Absolutely authoritative and infallible. His word has been preserved through history, without error in the King James Version of the Bible only. No other bible version should be used for the teaching, preaching or studying of God's Word, as they are not His true Word.
The Trinity - There is only one living and true God, existing in three persons-God the Father, His Son Jesus Christ, and the Holy Spirit.
Jesus Christ - The only begotten Son of God, His deity,and His creating all things. His virgin birth, His sinless life and nature, His miracles, and His vicarious and atoning death through His shed blood. His teachings, His bodily resurrection, His headship of the Church, His present exaltation at the Fathers right hand. His imminent personal, pretribulational return to the air to receive His bride to Himself.
Salvation - All men are sinners by nature and by choice, and therefore under condemnation, and bound for Hell. The salvation of all men is only possible through repentance and faith in Jesus Christ, on the basis of His death, burial, and resurrection. Totally apart from our merit or works of any kind. All who repent of their sins and trust in Jesus as their personal Savior are, eternally saved, forgiven of all their sins, and indwelt by the Holy Spirit.
Baptism - Baptism is only to be done by complete submersion and only after a person has accepted Jesus Christ as his or her personal Savior. Baptism is only an outward sign of repentance and faith that has taken place in the heart of the person being baptized. Infant baptism should not be performed, and has nothing to do with the process of salvation.

In addition to the Biblical doctrine and truths listed above, church services must have a "traditional" service structure, and not "contemporary" with worship and praise bands, groups, or music.
Please understand that our desire is to get the Gospel to lost souls, but we are bound by our doctrine, personal standards, and convictions. We never want to cause division among believers in Jesus Christ. If the leaders of the church desire to have us at an event and do not agree with ALL of the above statements, and practice them, we apologize that we cannot be a help for your need.
